Start of 2020 Irrigation Season
Dear Agricultural Water Customers:
This notice is being provided to Solano Irrigation District (District) Agricultural Water Users to inform you of the Board’s decision to start the 2020 irrigation season on March 13, 2020.
On Tuesday, February 18, 2020 the District’s Board of Directors approved the start of the 2020 irrigation season for March 13, 2020 with the direction that the District make efforts to deliver water as early as March 6 on systems that are ready. Some systems including Weyand Lateral B are still being repaired for the start of water season, however our goal is to have these systems ready for customers no later than March 13. The Board also approved the 2020 water budget and an allocation of 4.0 acre-feet per acre for the 2020 season.
The District will be ready to make deliveries by Friday, March 13. If you haven’t already done so, please be sure to get your 2020 crop declaration forms in as soon as possible so there are no delays in processing your water orders.
