2023 Crop Declaration

Dear Water User:


As you may be aware, the Solano Irrigation District (SID; District) Board of Directors adopted an Agricultural Water Allocation Policy in 2015.  For the 2023 irrigation season the District will be assigning an allocation of water to each agricultural water user for use during the irrigation season.  The adopted policy is enclosed for your reference.

The policy was adopted by the Board on November 17, 2015 and requires that water users submit a crop declaration form, in order to receive a water allocation for the 2023 irrigation season.  Customers may not receive water if they do not submit the form on time. It is imperative that you return a completed crop declaration form by February 15, 2023 otherwise you may not receive a water allocation until after the regular board meeting in July 2023. It is crucial that we receive your crop declaration form by the deadline in order to provide the appropriate reporting and water allocation for each customer. If you are aware of the acreage in which you will be irrigating but are still unsure of which crop you will be irrigating, by the deadline, please at least submit the acreage. We can adjust your crop use at a later date.

Please list all Assessor Parcel Numbers (APN) for which you plan to irrigate for the 2023 irrigation season.  If you plan to irrigate a property that has not been irrigated within the last three (3) irrigation seasons, please indicate the date of last irrigation that occurred on the property.   We also ask you to indicate the method of irrigation. An example is provided below:
