WATER SYSTEM PLANNING SERVICES INCLUDING:

• WATER MASTER PLAN UPDATE
• ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN
• CEMENT HILL WATER TREATMENT PLANT CONDITION ASSESSMENT

The Suisun Solano Water Authority (SSWA) is accepting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional water system planning services.  It is expected that the finished work products will accurately guide the prioritization of capital improvement projects needed to improve and maintain SSWA water system infrastructure including: 

• maintaining reliable levels of service, 
• responding to planned growth, 
• maintaining compliance with current and future regulations, 
• coordination of projects to minimize neighborhood disruptions while delivering projects when needed, and
• extending the useful life of existing water system assets, and
• Evaluating necessary replacement facilities for the to be abandoned Corporation Yard Tank.

Responders to this request for proposal are encouraged to demonstrate how the scope of services proposed will result in an integrated set of water system planning documents that will guide coordinated system investments that support a resilient water utility system in a cost-effective manner.
